Handcrafted Herbal Helpers

Hi, I'm Fliss

I've been in and around natural medicine for the better part of 25 years — as a naturopath, in the natural medicine industry, in sales and as a writer.

I’m a qualified naturopath with postgraduate studies in Human Nutrition, and I’m trained in the GEMM (Gut Ecology & Metabolic Modulation) protocol — an approach that resonates strongly with the way I’ve always believed good naturopathy should be practiced: food first, foundations first, and the whole person considered.

My career hasn't followed a perfectly straight line. I took time away from work to raise my boys and, for a chapter, our family lived in the USA. Although I never stepped away from Natural Medicine. I kept reading, studying, learning and working with herbs.

Now settled on the Bellarine Peninsula, it feels like the right time to come back to practice and put those years of knowledge, experience and curiosity to work in my own community.

My approach is practical and decidedly old-school. I take a very comprehensive case and spend time understanding the person in front of me.

Food is at the heart of the way I practice. I’m much more interested in what we can add to your diet than handing you an intimidating list of things you can never eat again. I use herbal medicine extensively, nutritional supplementation where it has a purpose, and testing when it is genuinely going to help us answer a question or change the way we approach treatment.

Most of all, I really like helping people.

I want you to leave feeling that someone has listened, joined the dots and given you a plan that feels achievable in your life.

After many years around this industry, I’m still endlessly curious about food, plants, people and health.

And if you go looking for me on Instagram, you may not find much. Im shy on socials! Not in real life
